I should be able to choose not to be bitten – or wear some daft bit of jewelry to ward off those wacky vampires – and not have to endure any consequences because of it. I would certainly respect your choices or the choices of the blog author. Certainly, I’m not invading peoples’ space or irritating them simply by being me.

So why compromise anything, even just once, in order to further someone else’s vampiric career?

Interestingly enough, I had a chat with a vampire the other day. She wanted to bite me, naturally enough, using the argument that I should give in just once. I told OK, on the condition she let me take a massive crap in her mouth. Just the once, I told her.

The results would be identical – ie, the attacker gets little and the victim gets nothing, and it’s all within the realm of fantasy/imagination anyway, meaning no damage done – but for some reason, she was offended!

Ultimately, it isn’t the concept of Bloodlines I find offensive; it is the lack of respect and courtesy I encounter when these decidely unsexy and unromantic vampires swoop in for the kill. I wouldn’t let anyone dance with me, talk with me or have sex with me without respect and courtesy; why would I let someone bite me and plonk my name up on the Bloodlines website as a victim, while showing neither respect nor courtesy? Can’t think of a single reason.

Also you can reclaim your soul by drinking a potion. No joke…but why do that if you don’t want anymore requests!

I gave in and now im a free soul, so to speak…no more pesky requests. At last!!!!
