Ok if you did any research on it before posting this you will see that over 99per cent of people ageplay because they have had really bad childhoods, they are trying to recreate something they either never had or lost, I do agree some people do it for the wrong reasons, but others are just trying to find the family they never had, Some people who can't have kids in rl for health reasons want to adopt on sl and have the family they can't have in rl they arent hurting anyone, I find it facinating that after the posts you made about karens article that you are doing the same thing, I quote "who might well be a fifty year old obese unemployed man", they might well be but not all of them are your making judgements just like she did, I don't want to sound rude but please dont make comments on things you really dont know anything about.

Is this not just a way for someone to have everything they want in world paid for without having to do a thing for it except spew out some badly spelled, entirely fake child like phrase of affection once in a while?

Pretty much, yeah.

I made a kid avatar last year, got adopted for a week, maybe two. It is actually quite hard to RP a kid without the stupid lisping and grammatical errors, because otherwise how do people know you're playing a kid and not just a short person in a bad outfit? Yeah, I got some stuff bought for me but most of it was ugly, and my 'family' was so boring that in the end I played truant on an another alt for a week and when I got back they'd banmuted me.

It's work, basically, like stripping or escorting; you RP and get stuff in exchange. I have to say I respect those who keep at it, because it was way too dull and time-consuming for me.

LOL, Alicia. If you find a Sugar Daddy who may be seeking an overly opinionated, loud, annoying, random Brit guy to throw money at (in exchange for NO sexual services whatsoever) please let me know!

Hmm...I wonder how I can get adopted, because I gotta say, having things paid for sounds pretty good! Although I guess at my age, I could look to be adopted by a sugar daddy.

Nah, Lauren. I don't delete comments here. I'm quite happy for opinions to be shared here.

There's plenty of things I don't understand - I'm just too much of a gobshite to keep my mouth shut about them.

Josue I think this blog was for nought. Humanity does lots of things we don't understand (Fruit Loops for one). The child avatar doesn't fit into your concept of reality. I don't really understand furries but I don't have a judgment on them. Why people read 'Twilight" eludes me as well as the side sales of 'male anatomy' you can buy and refrigerate so you can feel as if Edward is inside you (and that's in firstlife). Oh Well, you can delete my ramblings I raise you three Lindens worth
