Ok, so ‘Honeytraps,’ and detectives in real life are nothing new. But pixel spies to check out what your partner is doing? One has to wonder what this ‘state of the art technology’ is? Do they have a secret Linden on board? Have they hacked into the servers to get logs of everyone’s IMs? No. I doubt it. The most ‘advanced’ technology they have is probably the mysti tool.
I wonder if anyone actually pays for this service? Insanity.

I actually remember reading about this kind of service in one of many newspaper “SECOND LIFE IS FILLED WITH PERVERTS PEDOS AND CHEATING B&*^*()(*&” style headlines.
Of course it painted a perfect picture of us all by showing some of the more loons of second life, and basically saying “How pathetic is this person for loving someone in a virtual world”.
I believe that these spygirls actually rely on a bit of help from the SL partner, either to find out where they are using mapping (which most couples have turned on for each other) or just generally the spygirls IMing them.
What stands out for me is that in the world of second life where you can register a second alt, who the hell would be thick enough to cheat on their partners as themselves when they could just relog.
In either case I think it takes all sorts in Second Life, and if they can achieve some results good luck to them.

Don’t blast on this private investigating business because this is not only one that’s on SL. There are about 3 or 4 of them besides SPYGirls Agency that check on avatars for cheating and infidelity. I’m a personal friend of these two ladies who’s faces are on that ad They have closed a total of 10 cases and they are now building a team of investigators who have the motivation to crack open a few cases.
There is no possible way that they would hack into computer for IMs which it is inevitable. This is a business which is only used for role play in SL not real life where every thing is inside the imagination of these two ladies who’s dream is to run a business and become successful at what they at the most.
