Will You Be My Daddy?

I was in a store today when a pixel child IMed me and informed me that she has no Daddy.

I ignored her.

She then IMed me again asking if I would be her Daddy.

I ignored her.

Her ‘Mother’ then IMed me telling me she thought I would make a great parent.

WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?

Aside from the fact that there is every chance that this ‘child’ is actually a fifty year old bloke, can you imagine that in RL? Someone just walking up to someone in a store asking them to be a parent to their child? Ok,ok… so there are some f**ked up situations where single Mothers jump from one relationship to another in like 30 seconds and the kids end up calling seventeen different men ‘Dad’ in a year. But does anyone really ask people to parent their children?

Probably not. At least not the normal ones, right?

ROFLMAO.Oh come on Josue. A little daddy every now and then never hurt anyone! {:o) Seriously dude. You are right on the money. I have nothing against the child avis. My best friend in SL is one. However he acts like himself. Only looks like a child. But these baby talkin’ needs a mommy and daddy types freak me out. As we say here in the South, “those chir’run ain’t right!.”

I never get that sort of stuff, but Josue is a very paternal figure around the grid you have to understand.

I did get some damn kid all eyeballing me like she never saw a dad and his shoulder kid.

She was in a pack of bad spelling of grammar friends.

And yes, Alicia… lol, you can call me Big Daddy. I’ve certainly been called worse rofl.

Yup Tinsel… the baby talking thing is kinda freaky. Always makes me wonder why “seven year olds,” in Second Life all have speech impediments.
