Pixel Scoop Second Life Blog Guest Posting

Hey guys and girls!

I have decided to open up Pixel Scoop for guest post submissions. I think that fresh perspective from time to time will give the blog a little bit of a tickle and it’s an opportunity for those who either have a different type of blog or don’t have a blot at all, to share their thoughts. I’m not going to just post absolutely anything under guest posts, however (because I’m an awkward bastard). A few things to note:-

  • Posts must be Second Life or virtual worlds related in some way.
  • 2 links allowed to Second Life related websites.
  • The post must not read like an advertorial. This is a Second Life blog for entertainment purposes, not commercial gain.
  • Post must not be published elsewhere. Neither of us want duplicate content issues do we?
  • Post must be your own work. No copyright infringements please.

If you want to guest post….

Please email me either your full post (or a brief overview if you prefer not to email the whole thing) to josue [at] pixelscoop [dot] net. (Apologies for having to type my email address in a retard manner. It’s a spam prevention thing). Please don’t drop note cards on me in world. I have the organisational capabilities of a goldfish. If you drop notes on me, they will end up forgotten in a dusty corner of my inventory.

I will respond promptly to all submission emails.

Thanks, guys!

I think I have the intelligence of a goldfish, as well. I read the sl blogs and forums constantly. I want to post on one, but don’t see any way to. Can you give me a brief primer on how to post, where to post, or whatever it takes for me to be able to have a voice in the blogs, forums. I am frustrated, because maybe I don’t understand how to post…ie; no buttons, no respond buttons. Is it my browser.?..or am I missing something. Thanks in advance, Mike D. Heli Z

  • Hey Mike…

This page is actually only about posting on this blog. As for the Second Life forums, I believe they work just as the standard forums do. If you’re not seeing buttons, maybe try a different browser. I use Mozilla and have no problems at all :)
